Graduate of the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Trinidad with a Bachelors Degree (Upper 2nd) in Civil Engineering 1974, and University of Toronto with an M.Eng in Structural Engineering in 1979.

Manager/Engineer- Responsible for the production of toiletries and the maintenance of the factory equipment.

Project Technical Coordinator - Coordinated a 480 unit housing project - Caymanas Gardens involving the design of the casting yard, panel production and erection, planning, material quantities and labour administration.

Other work included the inspection of buildings to determine and report on their structural capability and the participation in the development of standard designs for buildings with special purposes. Structural designs were done for a number of small buildings relocated for various bypass Roads.
